Marina Lim
Director, Principal Therapist

My journey into Special Education and Play Therapy began as a mother seeking to better support my son with autism. This personal experience shaped my passion for working with children with special needs and their families, deepening my commitment to provide compassionate, effective support.

I believe strongly in involving parents in the therapeutic process. By helping them understand their child’s struggles and offering practical guidance, I aim to build a collaborative, non-judgmental space where both child and parent can grow.

With over 20 years in the education sector, I’ve developed curriculum, conducted national-level trainings, and worked closely with educators across the system. This background gives me insight into the academic and social pressures children face, which I integrate into my therapeutic approach.

Through play therapy, I guide children in understanding their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours—building self-awareness, responsibility, and resilience for life’s challenges.
